Kannawidan Festival

          

            Kannawidan festival from January 29 to February 3. Kannawidan festival was also an occasion to strengthen the Ilocano culture. It was very important of us as an Ilocano.

            Tradition was also found in the culinary treats that residents prepared including delicacies that Ilocos Sur is known for. Residents displayed products under the One-Town-One-Product (OTOP) namely: onions, garlic products from pickled and dried garlic and garlic polvoron for Sinait town; bamboo products such as trays and baskets for Cabugao; buri palm leaves products such as mat, bags, baskets, fan, hats for San Juan; corn husk bags, flowers, curtains, slippers for Magsingal and many more. Not only that there is also some activities happened.

               Now, Ilocos Sur was very successful. I am very proud because I am iloco . It gives me a feeling of greatness. I hope that next year will still fun. Its more fun in Ilocos Sur.

New Year, New me

        2013 is already passed. You can no longer reset the time that has passed by. There is no turning back. There is no rewind. Just like when a paper is burn and turned into ashes, it is impossible to make it back again to original form and so with life.

         And now, it’s a new year. And this year many things we would like to change. Change the worst thing we committed before. A negative before change it into a positive. Forget about the worst things you do before and lets start it again in new life.

         This 2014 a big change is going to happen. New year, new me.. A better year , a better life.

                                              Reflection

     It’s a new chapter, a new experiences in life regarding our studies .

          During 3^rd grading period I learned a lot of things specially in subject ict. I have learned more about computer. I am very thankful because I learned a lot of good experiences.

         I hope nothings change to this other chapter.

I hope that it will still the same.         

                                                    What Christmas Should Be

                   Christmas, this is the day that very important to us. When we say Christmas this is a commemoration of  the birth of Jesus and a widely observed holiday celebrated generally on December 25. In Christmas there's some symbols just like bells are played to ring out the joyous news, candles are the symbol to remind us that Christ is the light of the world, a star is placed on the top of Christmas tree to remember the star of Bethlehem and gift are exchanged to remind us of the gifts of the Magi to Jesus. Jesus is the reason for the season.

                   Christmas is a special day to us. We are giving love to each other. But some Christians do not celebrated Christmas because some Christians have other beliefs about it. But for me we need to celebrate it for our savior Jesus.

                   Christmas was celebrated a whole world. We should give our time to this day. It is a very special occasion for us. So we need to remember Christmas day.

CLIMATE CHANGE

CLIMATE CHANGE

         What comes to your mind when you heard climate change? For me, it is a significant change in weather. A change in weather condition or weather temperature. Climate change is often referred to as global warming. As of now this climate change is usually happened. It is now recognized as the major environmental problem.

              There’s some causes of climate change the natural causes just like the solar output, volcanic activity and many more. But for me the main causes of this is the human causes just like burning plastics or fossil fuels and cutting some trees. And now this is the reason why we suffered different calamities just like the typhoon. And after that we suffered a very hot weather condition. So climate change may affected our health. There’s so many bad effects.

                  There is a solution to this problem. We need to stop burning   plastics. We need to make  some activities regarding this climate change. We also need to remember on how to reuse, reduce, recycle.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

                           All of  us are created equal. We should have the equal rights and opportunities to do something. All of us has the right for the freedom. We have the right to be treated equally.

    

                            Equal rights and equal opportunities should be implemented. We are created different from each other but in the eyes of God we are equal.

                             So we need to make our life equal. God created us equal. We are all equal. Because God created us own his own image.

                                           

Going Global, Through English Language

         English is the universal language. A language that is recognized and understood by people everywhere. English may not be the best choice, but it is the obvious choice for an  universal language. Whether we like  it or not English language is becoming the global language . English language is important in whole world.

          English language we can use it anywhere anytime. Many of us can not directly speak English, there is some not good in speaking English. Nowadays we are open to learn it so that our English language go better. English was easy to understand and learn.

            English language is really important. We use it to communicate other country. English raise up tourism because its easy to communicate with the foreigners. This is a language we usually used.
